Production Decsription
PG, PGH series gravel pump PG, PGH series gravel pump are horizontal, single pump shell structure of centrifugal pump, GH for high lift gravel pump.PG. PGH series gravel pump adopts a single pump shell structure connected with a cassette, with a wide overflow channel.Which can completely substitute Warman GH gravel sand pumps.
Features and Advantages
- Wide Flow Passage: Single-casing, 3-vane closed impeller, and large pump volume ensure a wide internal passage for passing large solid particles, ensuring anti-clogging.
- Excellent Anti-Cavitation: Low NPSHr ensures the pump works properly at a lower inlet pressure.
- Wear-Resistant Parts: Wetted parts are mainly made from various high-chrome alloy materials for long wear life and corrosion resistance.
- Large Shaft Diameter: A large-diameter shaft with a short overhang design minimizes deflection and vibration, and extends bearing life.
- Reliable Bearing Assembly: Heavy-duty grease-lubricated roller bearings housed in the removable cartridge bearing housing for reliability and easy-to-adjust impeller clearance.
- Optional Shaft Seals: Packing seal, expeller centrifugal seal, and mechanical seal are available.
- One-Piece Frame: Feature a robust one-piece frame that cradles bearing assembly. A located facility ensures easy impeller adjustment. and the fewest through bolts securely hold the adaptor plate to the frame.
- Any Outlet Direction: Easy clamp ring connection ensures the outlet can be turned at any angle in 360°.
- Flexible Transmission: Various motor transmission modes are available, such as direct coupling mode, or v-belt modes including overhead-mounted, side-mounted, and reverse overhead-mounted.

FAQ
What is a gravel pump
A gravel pump is a pump designed to transport abrasive materials such as sand and gravel. It is designed to resist wear, ensure reliability and durability. Common types include centrifugal pumps, submersible pumps and slurry pumps, which are suitable for different application scenarios. Gravel pumps are suitable for handling coarse materials.
What are the fields where gravel pumps are suitable?
Gravel pumps are widely used in mining, construction, dredging and wastewater management. In mining, they transport mud and sediment; in construction, they help move concrete; in dredging operations, they clean sediment from waterways; and in wastewater management, they handle sludge and other waste. Gravel pumps are also effective when sand mixed with abrasives needs to be pumped.
What are the advantages of using gravel pumps?
The benefits of grit pumps include improved material handling efficiency, reduced labor costs, and enhanced operational safety. They are designed specifically for abrasive materials, reducing the risk of equipment damage and downtime while increasing the accuracy and speed of material transport.
